Face of the Earth Architecture is a hypothetical architectural firm created to offer its' services to those who use the building process called Rammed Earth Construction. This takes natural soil and undergoes a compression and compaction method until it is hard enough to build a wall.
I created this logo to have a face to emphasize the earth that was taken from the top soil, such as the “face of the earth” but also meant to emphasize how a house will be designed using this form of construction. The brand identity is reflected in the modern and earthy tones of colors, the logo, the typeface, and reusable water bottles to continue to be environmentally conscious. The lines in the logo are meant to mimic layers of the earth as if they were compressed in a home, creating an imperfect, outer exterior but beautiful nonetheless.
